Shelves of mechanical, electrical and body parts plus two chassis of an Austin Healey BN2 and a BN4 (No.46138). Ideal as a parts supply of these rare cars with the potential of assembly to make one car. Some parts may individually be considered rare and valuable and so this sale would suit buyers including an Austin Healey owner, mechanic, parts supplier or restorer.
There are too many parts to list individually but they include:
One bare car body (BN2) with most panels; BN4 chassis; electrical gear and instruments (inc. two NOS Lucas headlights, two 100/6 distributors, etc); some body hardware (handles, windscreen, spare doors and boot and bonnet lids, 2 front guards and 2 rear guards for BN4; one fibreglass boot lid; some aluminium body panels including shrouds; plus lots of inner body panels and floor panels); two gearboxes with overdrive (one in vgc); one complete and rebuilt 100/4 engine with zero hours on the clock (built by Ray Abbott in 2000); one mostly complete 2.6-litre 100/6 engine and one spare 3-litre block with heads; two rear axles (drum-drum BN4) and suspension; front suspension (inc. unused NOS links, king pins, shocks and arms); steering boxes (inc BN4 RHD) and column; new steering wheel; spoke wheels (need refurbishment); tonneau; fuel tank; etc. There is also a certificate from the Austin Healey factory for the BN2 and an original body plate for the BN4.
The parts will be sold as one lot and must be removed within a reasonable time from its location in a warehouse in a Perth south-eastern suburb. Owner is not able to physically assist with the relocation of the cars and parts. Parts could be boxed and forwarded at buyer’s time and expense. All offers around $12,000 will be considered. Transport to any buyer location and inspection reports can be arranged at the buyer’s cost, noting that this will likely require packaging and specific transport methods.
