The 20/25 was built from 1929 to 1936 and is credited with being the model that saved Rolls-Royce during the Depression. It was very popular with 3827 sales and 70 per cent are believed to still be on the roads. Rolls-Royce made the drivetrain and chassis with the owner selecting a coachbuilder. This Lancefield body was made by the London coachworks which was renown for building on very expensive chassis, including Lagonda, Isotta Fraschini, Alvis, Daimler and Rolls-Royce.
